The project of the inclusive play “Welcome to the Netherlands” aims to advance the status of people with disabilities and accelerate development of inclusive society as well as development of creative potentials in children through the stage play and sensitization of the public for understanding and accepting the differences.

There are 24 children who are included in the project and live in the Boarding school for high school pupils, 12 of whom are children with disabilities who attend the Special School. The main activity of the project is preparation and implementation of the play “Welcome to the Netherlands”.

The premiere of the play is held on the World’s Day of Human Rights, on 10th of December 2010, on the stage of Puppet Theater, crowded with the audience which awarded the young “actors” with the great applause not hiding their emotions.

The project is co-financed by Ministry of Culture in Republic of Serbia
