Regional technical and stakeholder CPI workshop to refine the CPI methodology and indicators’ frameworkwas held in Belgrade, Serbia, on 13-15 April, 2016. Workshop was attended bynational CPI experts from Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, Romania and Serbia, Child Pact and Agroinvest/World Vision representatives, BKTF Albania, KOMF Kosovo, MODS Serbia, “Nasa djeca - Zenica” BiH and Open Club from Serbia representatives.
Workshop was dedicated to:
1. presenting the findings and initial recommendations on the methodological approach based on the feedback provided by the experts involved in implementing it during the pilot stage, and
2. discussing the methodological changes that are required in order to improve the CPI implementation for the next stages.
Workshop agenda and structure were designed to combine presentations, working group sessions and plenary discussions. In accordance, first working day was intended for official opening and presentation of challenges and findings of the CPI pilot stage, based on the feedback provided by the experts prior to the workshop. Following two days were aimed at reviewing of CPI General Structure, CPI Methodology (data collection and validation, CPI team and scoring) and Indicators frame work (Services component indicators, Capacity component indicators, Accountability component indicators, Coordination component indicators, Social Work and Quantitative data indicators) through group working sessions, followed by plenary discussion sessions. The workshop was concluded with a brief presentation provided by the CPI Data Collection Manager on the main recommendations and next steps for preparing of revised CPImethodology and indicators’ framework.
