Evidence based advocacy campaigns are simultaneously launched in Albania, BiH, Montenegro, Kosovo and Serbia in last week of September 2016. Throughout the campaigns important social and child protection issues will be tackled, based on the findings from Child Protection Index results. The main idea of this process is to raise awareness about important social protection issues among decision and policy makers, expert and general public in each project country and to set ground for further advocacy process aimed at larger reform of complex social protection systems in the region.
In each country, specific topic for the campaign was selected. In accordance, campaign in Kosovo will be focused on foster care, in Montenegro children with autism and their position in the society will be in the main focus, in Albania participation of children and youth, campaign in BiH will be aimed at children with disabilities, while in Serbia improvement of efficiency of processes and procedures for adoption of children without parental care will be in the main focus of the campaign. National campaigns will be in process until December in each project country.
